About Me

Janice Goldmintz, Founder of Talk About Aging

Janice’s passion for her work is deeply personal. “I do what I do because I watched my grandmother languish in a nursing home at the age of 68,” she says. “Seeing people lined up around a nurse’s desk in wheelchairs, with little hope and quality of life, made me determined to create a better end-of-life experience for others. I wanted to make a difference.”

With a Master’s Degree in Gerontology, Janice has over 16 years of experience in the senior service industry. She has worked extensively with a downsizing company for seniors and assisted Dr. Stall, a renowned geriatrician, in providing education on successful aging. Janice offers training and consulting services to companies and conferences worldwide. She has presented for prestigious organizations such as the Delmanor Retirement Group, Sunnybrook Hospital, Girl Guides of Canada, and the Bernard Betel Center. Janice is also the author of the book “Getting Older But Not Old” and is a sought-after speaker who has been featured on numerous international podcasts.
